Mr Soko Shirahase represents Grand Master of Urasenke Tradition of Tea in Kyoto, giving a talk on Chado with the theme "Connect the world with A Bowl of Tea" and a demonstration with comprehensive explanation.

If you are thinking to study Japanese language in Japan and be enrolled Japanese university in future, this scholarship will support your first year in Japan for Japanese Language study.
This scholarship will be offered every year, so keep in your mind as one of your option after you graduate.
Following information was provided by JUGAS (Japanese University Graduates Association of Singapore, http://web.jugas.org.sg/)
This is a scholarship programme jointly sponsored by the Hiroshima Singapore Association (HSA) and the Mihara International Language Academy (MIAL).
Under this scholarship programme, MIAL accept a student from Singapore who wants to study Japanese Language in the purpose of enrolling a university in Japan with a scholarship and HSA will also give a scholarship to this student.
HSA's scholarship will be funded by the Hiroshima Shinkin Bank.
Outline of this programme is as follows:
Candidate
A candidate is required to have a basic knowledge of Japanese Language, e.g. third level of JLPT.
Japanese Study
A student will study Japanese Language at MIAL for one year to pass the first level of JLPT to have a qualification to enroll Japanese university.
Condition
We expect a student will successfully get a first level of JLPT and enroll Japanese university.
However if he/she is unsuccessful, he/she doesn't have to refund scholarship.
Also student can choose any university in Japan (even a university out of the Hiroshima Prefecture.)
Scholarship
MIAL will give scholarship of 370,000yen worth by exemption of course fee and so on (see attached MIAL's paper for the details) and HSA will give 600,000yen (50,000yen per month) by cash.
Travel expenses and other expenses
MIAL and HSA won't bear any expenses besides the above scholarship and a student has to pay all necessary expenses including return air tickets, meals and so on.
Responsibility
MIAL won?t take any responsibility to damages and losses of student except it caused by MIAL's fault.
HSA won?t take any responsibility to a student.

残念ですが、SP生も招待されませんでした。
ただし、SP在学中でボランティアをする学生は、夏祭りに参加することができます。
ボランティアの申し込みももう終わりましたね。
今回、参加できない人は大勢いると思います。
